Biography is basically the be-all and end-all of historical narrativeson television today. The show has been running for 15 years mostlyowing its huge popularity to history buffs and students of the arts.Virtually every noteworthy individual of the last two millennia hasbeen the focal point of an episode or two. Whether it's Hannibal, JFK,Big Bird or Himmler--it's always worth watching. It's easy to channelsurf and stumble upon an episode and instantly forget anything else youwere watching beforehand. The production value is really that welldone. If you don't have cable, your local library probably contains awhole section with Biography tapes on various subjects.
