Deadly Women fuses bone-chilling story-telling, sumptuous period drama and forensic fact in a bid to explore history's most alluring female killers.

Each episode profiles four famous cases from the past; killers and their victims are brought to life by elaborate dramatized reconstructions.

Deadly Women is a television series first aired in 2005 on the Discovery Channel, focusing on female killers. It was originally a mini-series consisting of three episodes: Obsession, Greed and Revenge.

After a 2 year hiatus, the show resumed production 2008 and began airing on the Investigation Discovery channel as a television series.

Other changes with the resumed production included a new opening sequence, a new narrator, and each episode now covers three cases instead of four.
