On the edge of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana lies some of Africa's most remote and beautiful wilderness. Summers are wet and productive, but winters are long and brutal. As summer ends, the days shorten as the dry season approaches. For the inhabitants of these plains and forests, this is the cruelest time of year. Vigilance and adaptability will determine which animals make it through Africa's most Savage Season. Award winning writer and producer William Taylor and cinematographer Wayne Hinde researched and filmed Savage Seasons throughout northern Botswana, primarily in the Moremi and Chobe National Parks.
